rvé CORNEDE, Commercial and Marketing Director for HAROPA, leaves his position to join SOGET. He will be the Executive Director of this company, the world leader in Port Community Systems.
Hervé CORNÈDE was appointed as the Commercial Director of the port of Le Havre in September 2009 and then Commercial and Marketing Director for HAROPA, when the EIG (Economic interest group) was created on January 1st, 2013. He worked for the first-rank positioning of the shipping offering of HAROPA ports, for the development of their terminals and the attractiveness of their logistics zones, thus allowing the ports of the river Seine to pass the historic mark of the 3 million TEU.
Hervé CORNÈDE placed its action in the momentum of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris area port communities by initiating collaborative projects in order to increase the efficiency of the container, logistics and automotive trades of the ports along the Seine corridor of which he is an ardent promoter. This is also in the relations with clients but also with Customs and the other State services that he knew how to set up a partnership and a new and efficient dialogue leading to collective high performance.
His arrival at the port information company is in line with logical continuity. Hervé CORNÈDE will thus be in an ideal position to deploy the S)One secure e-platform along the Seine corridor, to provide turnkey innovative solutions and then strengthen the “smart port” positioning of HAROPA.
”After 9 years of determined action within the port of Le Havre and HAROPA, this new professional page which is in keeping with consistent convictions and continued action, is a good piece of news for HAROPA and the whole port community” Hervé Martel said, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Port of Le Havre and Vice-President for HAROPA.
Hervé CORNÈDE has been External Trade Adviser since August 2014.
He will take up his post within SOGET on June 1st, 2018.
